Term scores will be on a whiteboard in the front of the gym at
Troop meetings
The prize for the monthly winner for trip-to-trip meeting scores
and the prize for winning the competition on a trip (if there is
one) will also be on the board or on this page below in the prize
section

Competition Scoring
MEETING SCORING
0-Don’t Have 10-Have
Area-
Flag- Patrol name, Troop number, Patrol emblem, Patrol members
names
Display- A sign or poster, similar to the patrol flag, that
represents and shows pride in the patrol.
Logbook- Patrol Leader’s notebook (the troop has one on this web
site)
0 to 10 Scale
Spirit- Patrol cheer
Fraction is divided, multiplied by 10 and rounded to the
nearest tenth
Uniforms- Number of members in uniform over number of members
present
Attendance- Number of people present over the number people in
the patrol
Weekly Competition
Whatever it is for the week
1st- 45 points
2nd- 30 points
3rd- 15 points
Rest- 5 points (as long as patrol finishes)
TRIP SCORING
Menus
Turned in to Mr. Michels at least 2 weeks before a trip (10
points)
In a week late (5 points)
Hanging up on the side of your box (5 points)
Duty Roster
Filled out and posted on patrol box (10 points)
Attendance
Number of people present over the number people in the patrol
Fraction is divided, multiplied by 10 and rounded to the nearest
tenth
Competition
Whatever it is for the trip
1st- 100 points
2nd- 75 points
3rd- 50 points
Rest- 25 points (as long as patrol finishes)
Boxes in Order
Up to the standard of the Senior Quartermasters and the Adult
Quartermaster
Can be awarded more if they are impressed
Points are up the Quartermasters and competition seniors
PLC Attendance
Not on trips
Must have a representative from patrol
0- Don’t have anyone come 10- Have a person come
Patrol Meetings
Not on trips
Have all members there and at least one adult sign it saying you
had one and present that to Philip along with the meeting notes
from it
15 points
Random Ponits
Fall-ins
Points can be deducted if Patrol doesn’t behave/act right at
fall-ins
Spirit
Points can be added or deducted based on the amount of energy
and spirit shown
PRIZES
At least 1 meeting a month will have a prize for the winning
patrols
Little flags will be given out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place each
week to go on patrol flags
There will be trip-to-trip prizes for top scorers at meetings
There will be prizes on trips that have a competition
Term Winners
Top 3 patrols for the whole term at the end of Summer Camp
will earn prizes
