P.A.S.S. Forms and Information

P.A.S.S. General Instructions and Sign Off Sheet   PDF Document

You must be at least a First Class Scout to be tested on the P.A.S.S. requirements. This document contains the general instructions for P.A.S.S., the Proficiency Award for Scoutcraft Skills. It also contains the more detailed sign-off sheet used to track a Scout's progress towards P.A.S.S.

P.A.S.S. Skills Instruction Manual   PDF Document

This Acrobat document is a skills instruction manual for some of the items tested in PASS. It does not cover the entire test. However, if provides invaluable information for Scouts attempting to pass the tests that it does cover. Must reading for all PASS candidates. (10 MB) (Updated 28 December 2023)

Here are a series of videos demonstrating how to tie the 6 knots learned from Scout through First Class. They are demonstrated using the method we have taught for many years and expect the Scouts to use for PASS.
