We went to summer camp in Connecticut. On the way up we spent an
afternoon at a trampoline center. We then spent a week at camp living
outdoors. While there we swam canoed, fished, hiked, and played
outdoor games. We worked on merit badges learning new skills like
wilderness survival, cooking, crafts, pioneering, climbing, and many
more. We enjoyed campfires, singing, and hanging out together in our
campsite. We made new friends with Scouts from other troops ...

On September 23rd we we going to Assateague Island for the weekend to camp in a group camping area on the sand just behind the sand dunes and about 200 yards from the ocean. Weather and currents permitting, we will set up a swim area along the beach, build sand castles, play games on the beach, hunt for seashells, and you know, everything else you can do at the beach. On Saturday we will ride over to Ocean City, Maryland and explore the boardwalk activities. When we get back to camp we will feast on steam crabs.
