December 2025 - Senior Surprise, Dan Beard, Broad Creek MSR
Senior Surprise took place at Camp Dan Beard, Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation, in Whiteford, MD on December 5-7, 2025. Friday evening we had snow on the ground and flurries while we were setting up camp. Temperatures dropped to 24°F on Saturday morning and 27°F on Sunday morning.Saturday was spent with the boys conquering the tasks set out in the Senior Surprise contest, which was a lot of fun for everyone. The clues added up to the theme of Song Fest. During the last song fest of 2025 around the campfire we had a special visit from Santa Claus.
