May 2023 - Canoeing Antietam Creek, Sharpsburg, MD

Our May 2023 camping trip was to Rohrback Campground and Antietam Creek in Sharpsburg, MD. We arrive on a nice dry evening on Friday, 12 May 2023 and set up our camp in the dark. The weather prediction for Saturday was rain on and off during the day. Fortunately the rain mostly held off until after we received canoeing instruction from our outfitter for the day, Antietam Creek Canoe. We paddled from Devils Backbone to Molly's Hole below Burnside Bridge. It rained off an on throughout the day but it didn't really matter. We were wet anyways. We completed another successful canoe trip for Troop 497!
