December 2022 - Senior Surprise at Camp Dan Beard, Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation

Senior Surprise took place at Camp Dan Beard, Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation, in Whiteford, MD on December 9-11, 2022. Saturday was spent conquering the challenges set out in the Senior Surprise contest which was a lot of fun for everyone.It was a tent camping weekend with Patrol cooking.

We had a clear night on Friday with a very bright moon just pass full. The temperature dipped to 21°F under the stars and we awoke to a clear and sunny morning. It clouded up late Saturday keeping theovernight temperature to 34°F. Participants who camped both nights earned 11 Texas tough points for the weekend
