October 2022 - Calvert Cliffs State Park, Lusby, MD

Our October 28-30, 2022 camping trip was a return to the youth group camping area at Calvert Cliffs State Park. Cooking was a major theme of the weekend. There was a Dutch Oven competition for lunch and a cardboard oven desert competition for dinner. In addition, there were four successful PASS meals cooked on Saturday evening. Some Scouts and adults dressed in their Halloween costumes for part of the weekend. We also carved pumpkins on Saturday afternoon. The weather was a mix of overcast and cloudy skies with a low temperature of 54°F on Saturday and 45°F on Sunday.
