October 2021 - Susquehannock State Park

Our September camping trip to Assateague Island State Park was cancelled again this year because of Covid-19. It is too far to travel without car pooling. Instead we went to Susquehannock State Park in Pennsylvania which is just over an hour drive. We also had to move the dates forward a weekend for availability so we actually camped in October. We had beautiful weather and clear skies Friday night for sky observation with and without a telescope. In the morning the cool temperatures resulted in low clouds hanging over the river as seen in some photographs below. The weekend was filled with games, advancement, hiking, cooking, and lot of camaraderie.
